Desert Star Institute for Family Planning, Inc. was founded to answer the call to preserve and increase access to family planning services for people who can become pregnant.

The Next Generation of Abortion Providers Program

The Next Generation of Abortion Providers Program (NGAPP) provides observational and hands-on clinical instruction in abortion, contraception, early pregnancy loss, and other common women’s health conditions through a reproductive justice framework. Trainees can schedule 1 – 4 week rotations at Desert Star Family Planning, LLC.

Community Education

We provide invited speakers and sponsor informational events on family planning and women’s reproductive health topics. We maintain a group of speakers and rich content for a variety of organizations and settings.

IUD Access Program

The IUD Access program provides long acting non daily birth control to uninsured people for pregnancy prevention.
